yes. yes. and yes. more. more. and more. immediate. i love it. it has a tapped in quality that i try to capture in my own work. bravo. it’s the best yet my friend. i will re-listen today and think about more thoughtful feedback.
Wow. Got another chance to listen. I love how you talk about just about everything we’ve been talking about but you do it in turbo. Some of the visuals you bring up are truly surreal. Like Rembrandt and the witches potion? totally Dada it seems but it connects to the ongoing discussion.
painting with words for sure. the mental pictures you achieve here could never be accomplished in a painting. I’m beginning to see the spoken word as the most immediate and logical form of communication and or art.
I am thinking of making an argument that the spoken or written word is the most evolved art form we have at our disposal. How far we have come to only realize that forming concise or sporadic thoughts through language is just as powerful as a multimillion dollar movie.
Can you write a love rap? I’d love to hear one to your little girl. Just putting that out there. There is much power in love.
too-shay. good point. but we have translated the Bible in how many languages now? quite a few I think.
yeah love rap. i’d love to hear that. think about it. i’d love to make a large chunk of my content focused on love. i think that could be trans-formative if only for myself.

August 25, 2010i don’t take requests….ha ha….joke…
don’t forget that spoken word only works in the language it is given…
it differs from visual art in this way…just something to keep in mind, as far as the argument goes…
