The State of the Union

Relationships are conditional.

Absolute commitment is as a ridiculous notion as absolute freedom.

We respond, we react and in so doing discover our limitations, our boundaries, that which makes us what we are, unique.

I am struck lately by the grooviness of this thing, this globatron.

And I believe it has to do with surrender, not absolute, you understand, but a movement in the direction of surrender.

Absolute surrender would mean death, as would absolute commitment and absolute freedom.

But something has shifted toward the nothingness and given breathing space for something more lively, and I’m not sure what it is, but I can feel it, and it pretends to amuse me with thoughts of deeper commitment, as if such a thing were a choice. No.

Commitment is not a choice, it is something we discover about ourselves, as we struggle in the web.

Father Mapple Moab Adzu III, the state of the Globatron Union is strong.

After review of the budget looks like we are going to be able to keep everyone on the nonexistent payroll.

I am interested in your thoughts on surrender. I was not aware that one could partially surrender.

I’m also interested in your thoughts on nothingness because to me nothingness is infinity.

I think the paradox of surrender is that surrender is actually not accepting defeat but accepting life. The hear and now can only be realized through surrender.

    Nothing is Everything.
