		<description>What gets me is that we can&#039;t even be bipartisan among our own people.  Among other artists and creatives.  I wonder how we can at all be bipartisan in our approach to such dividing issues such as abortion.  

I find some similarities in the division in the local Jacksonville art scene as in the division between Republicans and Democrats.  

on one side you have a group that seems to want to talk about the issues and on the other side you have a group who seems to be happy with having some sort of group identity.

Not that either side is right or wrong in the above analogy, but it does seem to parallel the current political situation.
