Anyone out there planning on going? I would like to but teaching duties are keeping me here. But for you folks venturing out into the wilderness here is a great list and schedule of all the activities going down. I would print it, laminate it, and tie it around my neck with a string, but i am a nerd so you may not want to do all that.

Im going to the art basel in Miami. A place to stay is the Tropics Hotel (tropicshotel.com). It is a hostel…so if you are looking for plush it is not the place for you, but at 27 a night you can beat it.
The artist team of drivebypress.org came to visit us today, and they said their next stop was Art Basel. Interesting thing that none of the other arts high schools wanted to see them–not DASH or Dreyfuss or New World. Strange.
If you’re going to Art Basel, you should check them out. They’re traveling the country in a van with a press (”Hank the Tank”), some flat files, and a gazillion blocks and prints that people they visit have donated. I donated a block and my friend Kylie donated a print. It’s really cool what they’re doing.
man! i wish i would have known there were visiting UNF…i would have loved to go check them out (assuming it was a public demo). its cool that you were able to have them stop by DA kelly.. you guys get all the cool stuff
