Good Morning brothers and sisters,
Today on this fine, wet Sunday morn, I begin a new series of postings meant to stir the flocking soul! Every Sunday expect a new video by inspiring clothed people. We begin with that awe-inspiring brotherman, Reverend Billy, with whom I once had the pleasure of walking the long walk with. Enjoy, be saved, and prey!

My first stint living in Brooklyn I used to bump into this cat all the time at openings. I saw a street art performance he did with at least 100 people at the SOHO Arts Festival around 1998. Nice to see he’s still kicking. There is power in his message.
There was this other performance artist Reverend Jen who wears elf ears all the time that was always around with Rev. Billy.

I saw these guys often at the coolest performance art spot in the Lower Eastside, The Collective Unconscious.

(this place was/is amazing) I was so blessed to have seen and partaken in some performance art while living in New York. The premise for the open mike nights at the Collective Unconscious were that you had seven minutes and that anything goes. Anything. After seven minutes you got some sort of reaction from the crowd that was usually fifty or so in attendance or no reaction at all. Folks were very serious about this work. There was spoken word and some odd performances.
One performance Akbar Lightning and myself brought homemade weapons and did a sword fight on stage. We made up rules for the fight and such like an Olympic fencing contest. It got little reaction but was hella fun.
Thanks for the walk down memory lane Mark. Praise the Lord.
glory days, yes Globatron and I were in that group, actually looked down upon by the looked down upon, what a privilege. praise the lord, hallelujah.
it’s a pretty good sermon, good stuff.
fighting against the skin of the beast, does not strike to the heart, that is my instinct. but he is fighting nonetheless, hallelujah.
akbar
those were the days Akbar. Just think if we were a bit more focused.
