Or maybe Race Mixing is Communism. I’m confused. What decade is this?

Is there a point to this?

  • Akbar Lightning said:

yeah, but you would need to have a basic ability to understand analogy to get the point.

The point is the similarities in calling anything that scares the right communist. It's McCarthyism all over again. The point is the similarities between this photo and the photos of the protesters at the town hall meetings. Just replace Race Mixing with Healthcare Reform and you have nearly the same people but much older or from a different generation protesting about something they are scared will change their white America.

Look how well American has faired since racial integration? Riots in the streets, a national dept beyond relief because of welfare, triple the crime rate, lower test scores across the board, and a bunch of lazy citizens with hatred and contept for the country which gave them freedom… Sounds like we would have been better without racial integration.

mr35 your comments is so obviously racist it makes the point of the post. Thanks for at least stepping up and making it known you are a racist instead of hiding behind the word communism as a catchall for all of your hatred. I don’t agree with you at all but at least you came clean.

wow, the barbarians are winning! it’s amazing how many right-wing lunatics read this blog.

These men most likely fought and served for their country. What have you lazy liberals done? If you hate the way America is then you should move to France, or if you want free health care move to Canada. Either way its better for all of us if you leave. No free ride here.

so did many of the african americans they were fighting to keep segregated, many of them died serving our country too, and yet they were kept from enjoying the liberty and freedom this country stands for. it is typical of white racists that they want anybody who challenges their ignorance to leave the country, but they have not even come close to succeeding in this because they do not have the one thing that power depends on, which is knowledge of history, and knowledge of the liberalism found among our founding fathers, inheritors of the enlightenment.

Same old hate filled rhetoric mr35. I actually have served my country during a time of war. I signed up just two months after 911. What have you done?

Also, I definitely don’t think you have the right to question my patriotism after towing the line on your contempt for civil rights and racists beliefs.

Way to verify the analogy in this post though. I had no idea how full of venom some are. I had a feeling but you completely validated it.

These look like the same people, all grown up! The sad thing is that bigots have become so fat! Compare this photo to a photo of the “teabaggers” at
a town hall meeting, they weigh at least 30% more if not double. Are there
implications of sitting and listening to right-wing radio for longer?
Is Limbaugh’s portly stature inspiring his followers to eat themselves to death? Maybe this is the true health-care crisis. Maybe they should go
back to chasing black people through downtown with fire hoses and dogs.
That would keep the weight off and make a large segment of the population
not need so much health care. The rest of us can sit on the sofa with a
bag of danish wedding cookies and watch Oprah reruns.

Interesting observation Jim. They were all smoking a pack of Reds a day and actually worked with their hands back then too. Now this group sits behind desks and works on Excel documents before getting ready to grill out for the Big Game.

I definitely think the leaders of the GOP think healthcare reform is like a big game or something. Their team lost so they are going to be sore sports and talk nonsense and make up lies while people from both parties are dying every day.
