Click below to view a new daily photoblog of Globatron the alter-ego. I’m using Tumblr and it feeds Twitter and my Facebook status. I love connecting the dots.
Needless to say I think it’s a pretty cool project. The most fun I’ve had in a long time. I’m using my new Macbook and iChat’s Video preview with the mirror effect. I’m loving that effect and I’m going to beat it into the ground. What I love most is how it updates Twitter and my Facebook status though.
I’ve been sort of down in the dumps over this blog and how half of the local art scene has so easily turned their backs on me and all the work I’ve done the past couple of years documenting this scene.
I want to say this to all the haters out there. You know who you are. I’m going to live. My chemo is working. I’m not going anywhere.
I had a 10-20 percent shrinkage of my tumor. They are doubling my chemo and we’re hoping it will continue to shrink. Not that half of you give a damn. I feel ashamed that I’ve invested so much time and work into this art community for so many of you to turn your back on me when I needed you most. Globatron is ALIVE and I’m not going anywhere anytime soon. Sorry to disappoint you.

I’m glad to hear it’s working. Don’t let the haters get you down. You can’t make an omelet without breaking a few eggs.
yo Globeheads, if you haven’t checked out our founder’s tumblr pics, then you have missed a great example of what makes Byron King a creative genius, his ability to see something profound and complex in a very simple idea.
Thanks mate. I’m blushing. Truly. I’m having fun with it and that’s what counts.
I really wanted the alter-ego character globatron to have a life outside of this blog. Through the photoblog he has a daily photo diary. He comes to life in a way. Each day I take photos of him I feel as if I’m creating him anew.
Also, it’s a great way for me to document some of what I’m going through on a day to day basis without being too close to it.
Thanks again Akbar.

Loki I swear I wish I knew who you were, I’d give you a digital hug right now. I really needed that. Thank you so much. Great analogy too.
