First of all, I’d love to animate it and add hotspots on the image with bits from the essay. The painting took months to do as I can tell, and there are parts of it that are amazingly rendered. Such patience.

But to address the essay I think you have some really valid points of which no one usually considers or if they do they are considered nuts. So Bravo for putting this out there and being so bold in doing so.

What type of democracy can we have when much of what should be public knowledge is covered up?

No democracy at all I would think but again I’d be considered nuts for taking this thought seriously. So be it.

I think you also (maybe by purpose) did not mention the 911 conspiracy theories and the the moon landing theories of it all being faked. These theories have a ton of data and footage showing how they are possible fakes but no one in the media or politicians will toe the line on doing any research on these theories. It’s as if any suggestion that there might be some truth in them automatically puts you into a part of a fringe group considered to be not quite all there.

So again Bravo for putting this out there. You are right the image of the UFO alone makes a person choose their belief system right off the bat. Either this painting and essay will deserve further investigation or it will be classified as insanity. The viewer/reader has a second if best to make that judgement. I would hope there are more and more out there able to ask themselves the questions you did in the essay. The painting is beautiful. Of course the digital image doesn’t do it justice but I hope you are able to get folks thinking and to also have some great discussions about the topics the essay covers in the days to come.

The essay is provocative, mind blowing, and amazing. Powerful art and ideas….great combination!
