My thoughts are so fragmented that they do not blend together like the ingredients of any recipe. My mind jerks from family to health to politics to drought to war. To working out to reaching out. To my career. To standing up. To laying low. To the foreign politics of civil war. The fog of war. To climate change. The future of mankind. To just making it a few more years. For time to love my wife. To see my girls grow up. Wondering what type of world they will grow up in. Scared of that world. But still, clinging to see it.
