Looking Within

What is Globatron?

In the past Globatron has found its inspiration through naturally occurring events in the real world.  Lately, having been displaced by a variety of forces, we are being forced to question our methods and investigate our conclusions and theses.  We are on a soul-finding mission and we invite anybody into the discussion.  We were born as an art blog, and sought to take the blog form and make it a work of art itself, and through this we discovered through occasional conflicts with the education industry that we had a deep interest in social issues.  But perhaps we have spread ourselves too thin.  Perhaps we should keep spreading until we reach the realm of the absurd.  Who knows…we don’t know….but we know we do not want to be a poetry blog, or a random collection of interests.  We want to be joined together on an adventure but we have yet to define the grail…What shared activity in this digital world can represent truthful commitment to living in sincerity?  If anything we have never shied away from posing the question, so here it is….Once again we will either sink or swim but we will not return to shore in defeat.

i wrote on the Wave in depth but what to summarize that i don’t care what Globatron is or isn’t anymore. I want to know who you are. I want to know who Ken Vallario is. Travis Seay. Greg. Angie. The people behind this blog. Yes… blog. I want to build community and share real human experiences in order to get to eternal truths. i want to share and learn about the humanness that we all experience.

as to Globatron University and all projects that we did in order to start dialogue, that was the goal of them correct? to learn about our fellow man? art is just a vehicle isn’t it to communicate? are we not trying to share and help lead discussions about the human condition? that seems to be what this site does or at least the type of work that I try and engage myself with and create. please correct me if i’m wrong but if it’s a blog or art project i could care less as long as it continues to provoke thought and help guide discussion about real issues that impact all of us personally and globally.

    thanks,
