This image could be his surgeon, anesthesiologist and nurse. I don’t know if Jesus or the other gods will show up in the video that Byron got, though.
He didn’t have to do much convincing to get his surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurse, and PA to agree to take video of the surgery. They got really into it in the surgery holding area. His creative energy was contagious. When the PA came to tell me he was out of surgery, she said that they not only took 45 minutes of video, they also took their microscope with attached camera and took video of his brain and will put it on a disc for him somehow….and will take stills of his before and after MRI. Maybe this is a new form of art therapy.

I spent some time with Byron this morning. I’ll let Dana give the updates, but I must say that I sure hope if I ever have major surgery like that, I look as good as he does the next day! He’s up and talking up a storm.
