Low on the Highline (part 84)

Aiming all directions
amongst the caribou,
the boxcars stand at ready,
lined in rows of Red and Blue.

From Billings to Lincoln,
around the desert towns,
they can track to any place
where the free might still be found.

Sent in Cable Splicers
set up the Garden Plot;
Leave imploded bodies,
their gods will sort the lot.

Galvanized, high-tensiled,
the barbing and posts await;
razor wire directed in-
that’s where the rail meets fate.
